Vision Rehabilitation & Therapy

Vision is more than 20/20

At Gem State Family Eyecare, we evaluate the function and perceptual dysfunctions associated with the way the eyes and brain work together. Vision therapy is a progressive and individualized program of vision procedures performed under doctor supervision designed to fit the visual needs of each patient. Typically, weekly in-office sessions are supplemented with assigned procedures performed at home between office visits.

What is Vision Therapy?

The purpose of vision therapy is to develop and improve fundamental visual skills and abilities in order to increase visual comfort, ease, and efficiency by changing how a patient processes and interprets visual information.
